I'll never forget the magical feeling   when I first rode down the long driveway into the Triangle L Ranch, in 1979.  The giant oak trees, the beautifully shaped granite boulders, the community of houses painted white, with red roofs and dark blue trim.  The spacious shops and barn.  The corrals and the windmill.  The great energy and peace of the place.  I was with the former owners, Tom and Margot Beeston, on that first day they saw the ranch.  We all fell in love with it, and they purchased it.

Twenty-two years later (including twelve years running it as a gracious and charming bed & breakfast inn), and after Tom's untimely death, Margot sold it to new owners who, I'm told, cherish and care for it just as much.

In honor of my long friendship with the Beestons, and their kindness and generosity to me, and the many times I visited the Triangle L, I put up this small website, originally to help sell it.  Now, for me, it is just a fond remembrance.  A ranch I once knew, and where I experienced so much magic, for so many years.  Several people with similar fond memories have contacted me after they found this website...

The place has 40 acres, six houses, two large workshops, one large barn, and nine other small buildings.  Plus corrals, a windmill, three wells, and a great looking old Arizona brand (Triangle L).   Not to mention the beautiful secluded environment.  And easy access to the whole world of Southern Arizona:  mountains, desert, Tucson. Buffalo Bill used to go to the Triangle L Ranch to party and relax.    And so did I...

Sincerely,

-- Chris Duffield, Ph.D.     cdiptq@iptq.com
